Yes, it's true. At your local comic book store, you can now find (well, maybe order) the first issue, July, 1996, of The Von Fange Brothers comic book. Written by Bill Wiist, it features the exploits of the 3 Von Fange brothers, Billy, David and Michael, as they struggle to learn to use their superpowers for truth, justice, and the American way!

Getting a Copy of The Von Fange Brothers

This first copy of The Von Fange Brothers is going to be a collector's item soon because:

• not many were printed (my assumption since it's self-published)
• not many comic stores carry it
• it's getting late to order - you usually have to order a month or two before it comes out
• thousands (well, hundreds) of Von Fanges will want to own it

So, what should you do? Here's what I did. I called every major comic store in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. I asked if they had The Von Fange Brothers. There was either silence or 'huh?' I told them it was an independent being distributed by both Capital and Diamond. Some thought they wouldn't be able to get it. But I asked those who would to order some and so far I've been able to purchase 4 copies. It was an awesome experience, I tell you, walking into Shinders on Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, the biggest and best place for such stuff, to see there, amidst all the Supermans and Spidermans, the Von Fange Brothers.

So, CALL YOUR LOCAL COMIC STORE NOW! They're in the Yellow Pages! Are you living in a rural area or small town? Then find a 'cousin' in a metropolitan area who can get one for you!
