Lenora L Schneider

Lenora L Von Fange Schneider, formerly of Salina/Hunter/Lincoln Kansas will be celebrating her 100th birthday at Trinity Lutheran Church onSaturday, September 03, 2011. Trinity Lutheran Church is located at 702 S Ninth Street in Salina, Kansas 67401. The fellowship hall is at the corner of 9th and Crawford. Reception begins at 2:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall next to the chapel and ending at 4:00 pm.

Lenora is presently residing with her eldest child, Elizabeth “Jane” Nelson of Topeka, Kansas. Lenora is preceded in death by her spouse, Frederick W Schneider, her daughter Wavelyn J Schneider and two grandsons, Yancey and Vance Schneider. Her son, James R Schneider resides in Huntsville, Alabama with his wife Carolyn and his one son Yates and his family. James and Carolyn's daughter Stephanie is attending school at Harvard and completing her Doctorate in Nepal. James' other living son is Vince Schneider in Titusville, Florida with his son. Jane Nelson has three living children: Daniel J Nelson and Rebecca J Nelson and their families reside in Topeka, KS and Sandra J Nelson-Mayo resides in Auburn KS with her family, although one child does reside in Topeka, KS. All of Lenora’s siblings have preceded her in death out of 11 siblings and both her parents.

She was baptized in Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod and has been a member all of her life.

Lenora started her career as school teacher, then wife and mother of a farmer, then moved to Salina and pursued her career in Sales at Salina Consolidated for at least 20 years.
