The good news is that we are receiving documents that give us new insights into the history of Gustav Jahn, his children and the Züllchower Institute. The bad news is that my German translation capabilities are limited and laboriously done.
Here is your opportunity to help this project obtain critical new information and a way to get a few bylines in the new book as well. Below will be posted documents that we need translated into English. The idea is to pick one, let me know, print it out, translate it or have it translated and send it to me. I wish I could offer you fabulous riches in return; I can only offer the gratitude of a family for bringing new insights and stories to it, plus the acknowledgement of your efforts in the book itself.
When you click on any of the pictures below, you will see them either full-sized or sized to your window; it depends on your computer's browser. On some, as you look at the image, there will be a button in the lower-right hand corner which can be clicked to get full size and therefore good visibility of all the words. Experiment with sizing, with options when you right click on the zoomed image to see if you can get a legible printed copy from which you or the translator can work. You can also right click on the image, copy and paste it into a new Word document which will then allow you to manipulate the size.
