Unknown #1
July 23, 1904. On the back it says:

Thanks to Dr. Rosalie Haines - the word in the middle is
'Silberhochzeit' - silver wedding anniversary! And now we know this must
be Anna Jahn Kuhlmann and Rev. Karl Kuhlmann who were married July 23,
1879. They had 6 children and there are 6 men and 6 women in the picture
besides Karl and Anna. However, one daughter had died long before this
picture and another daughter, Dorothea, may have been single. So the
people in the picture remain unidentified. |
Unknown #2 Identified on back as Uncle Fritz Jahn's
kids (my cousins). Fritz had 6 children, 4 boys, and 2 girls. If these
are Fritz's children, the two girls are Elizabeth (1900) and Margarethe
(1906). The boy couldn't be Fritz (1914) so must be either Ulrich (1902)
or Richard (1904). |
